How to get your driveway ready
Here's a few things to take note of on how to prepare your driveway for out snow blowing service. We ask you to remove hockey snd basketball nets from the driveway area. It would also be a good practice to remove garbage and recycling bins after they get picked up so we can clear the driveway completely. Please trim back any over hanging tree from the driveway, we can also help with this.
Drifting & Prolonged snow events and how we handle them and any shovelling.
How we handle drifting snow is as followed. We typically remove larger drifting snow from driveways. We assess and check properties on those minimal accumulating snow events and clear on a as needed where needed bases typically at 6am depending on timing. Sometimes clearing after these drifting conditions we would only be clearing the drifting/deep snow areas. And sometimes we would clear the full driveway it all depends on the conditions in the driveway. On snow events that are prolonged and keep snowing, we will assess the current conditions and either dispatch our operators between 12:00 midnight and 2:30am or between 5:00am and 7:30am for a if needed second pass. Additionally we understand that snow events can be continuous and complex, which is why we are commit to multiple visits if needed for snow event when needed. Whether the snow keeps falling or the town’s plows create barriers at the ends of driveways, you can rely on MSC to make return visits to keep your property accessible and free of snow build-up. Trust MSC Snow Removal for diligent, ongoing service throughout the entire snowy season. All shovelling typically gets done when the snow event has stopped or once in 24 hrs, which also depends on the seriousness of the snow event.
